Why I created WorkLondon
After stepping away from my last job, I realized just how broken the job search process really is. I started WorkLondon out of a personal need. At a difficult time in my life, after leaving my role in London, I found myself desperately applying through all sorts of platforms and apps. Many of them felt like ghost sites — no replies, no results, no transparency. It was incredibly frustrating, especially knowing I had a strong CV, with multiple certifications, including qualifications on machinery that should have been in high demand.
I personally experienced just how complicated, exhausting, and discouraging the job search process can be. That’s when the idea hit me: What if I built a simple, clear, and honest solution for people trying to find work in London?
That’s how WorkLondon was born — a platform created for real people, in real situations.
